FARMVILLEN

To continue this newly found Advertising/ Viva la consumerism passion, I decided to choose an Art Direction brief for my new project... Thus the idea of advertising farmville birthed. For those of you who do not know, farmville is an online game one can become viciously addicted to (for once, not guilty). I will not explain my concept as I hope you, my two, maybe three viewers will have to figure that one out yourselves. Use them brain juices...
Big shout out, once again, to my lovely entourage for making this shoot possible. As well as the mister who taught me some phenomenally amateur post-production skills. Love xxx

I must say that I do miss painting a colossal amount. It’s not necessarily that I do not have time to paint anymore, it’s just that in the time that I do have I very seldom want to spend being creative - as I am constantly forced to be creative (due to my choice of studies). It is kind of sad as my creative output is the mundane,  objective kind and I do not spend it in the things that gave me the initiative passion of my career choice . Oh first world problems of an “artist”.

INTERNSHIP

These holidays I was privileged enough to undertake an internship at the great Ogilvy & Mather Namibia. I worked with an incredible team of individuals and attempted to suck-out as much creative knowledge as I could. Gained a lot of insight in terms of “real world advertising” and will be able to tackle the last stretch of my studies much more vision. Shalom Ogilvy and thank you for this opportunity. Viva la Future, Ambition and shiz.

Ogilvy & Mather Namibia, making a mark in Namibian advertising. I was pleasantly surprised that the team of creatives are eager to push the boundaries of Namibian Advertising, aiding to a more colorful future.

MOLOGY

Here are some photos I took for my first amateur fashion shoot. the brand is  grungy, free spirited &careless. I tried to reflect these characteristics in the shoot. It was a fun experience involved with a lot of hustling, feces,  bergies and drunk girls getting involved. It wouldn’t of been possible without my entourage of good_looking models: Marly, Pierre, Bortsie and of course Hylton (who was meant to help behind the scenes but found his true talent in front of the camera) and my lighting gurus; Courtney and Don, thank you all so much xxx
